Our electricians today completed a garage rewire and a consumer unit upgrade in Maidstone Kent. The garage had a completely wooden fuse box with ceramic rewire-able fuses and mineral insulated cabling. We re-supplied a new 18th edition consumer unit in the garage with a SWA submain from the house, installed new metal-clad sockets & light switches in conduit and installed LED energy efficient lighting. The house received a new split load 18th edition consumer unit ensuring all circuits have RCD protection. The full project has been inspected & tested also notified to building control.
