I couldn’t recommend JDH electrics highly enough. They had an extremely difficult job on their hands with the electrics on a large, Grade II listed building, which proved to be a challenge, but nothing was too much trouble for Joe and his team. We needed new consumer units in the pub and living accommodation, a commando unit for hot tub and a caravan hook up for future holiday lets. With a very old building of course nothing was simple, but they worked very hard ensuring the job was completed and that we were satisfied with their work. Joe takes great pride in his work and is a perfectionist. I would be more than happy to use his company again.
Very thorough quote. Tested some electrics prior to being given the job. Joe is very professional and personable. We had to have a complete re-wire and Joe was able to start immediately due to job being postponed. Electricians that worked with him also worked hard. Great guys – I would recommend them and use them again. I was able to leave them a set of keys and they got on with the work.
Would highly recommend JDH! Had to call JDH Electrics out to fit some light fittings I had tried to do myself, but to no success. They turned up in no time at all, even though it was a bank holiday! Didn’t even query doing a couple extra light fittings for me, Fast, friendly, professional service, knew exactly what to do and all was sorted in no time at all! Fantastic service, 100% would recommend to anybody!

I needed Joe to come and do an emergency light fitting replacement which he did the next day. Professionally done and highly recommended.
My kitchen was recently being refitted when it was discovered I had a severe electrical problem with deterioration of both the lighting and socket ring mains from the fuse box.Basically the circuits I had relied on for years were condemned as the insulation was breaking down into a sticky green liquid, not only affecting the light fittings and sockets that the wiring served, but also appearing in the main fuse box behind the safety cover.
Joe of JDH Electrics found this when testing the electrical runs from the kitchen, picking up some horrendous readings, checking the other circuts as a precaution the bad news became apparent.
JDH Electrics promptly came up a plan to rewire the house completely, which was the only solution, providing the manpower to effect a speedy rewire, thorough testing, new sockets and fittings, with an up to date fuse box as well. They discussed what they were going to do and the best way to achieve this with minimum inconvenience to me.
Well done, thumbs up for JDH Electrics for a great result and a competitive price to fix. A fantastic bunch of fellows and very professional.
